☑ No table cloths, tables disinfected after each use instead.

☑ One-use menus printed on recycled paper.

  • When did the restaurant re-open?
The Beach House Restaurant is open for service as of Friday 22nd of May 2020 and stays open all year :)
  • What are your kitchen opening hours going to be?
    We will be open as usual: Mon-Sat 09:30 - 22:30 Sun 09:30 - 18:00
  • What type of additional health and hygiene measures have you taken?
In accordance with Spanish law, we have stepped up our health and hygiene protocol as follows: ☑ Interior & outdoor spaces are open for business ☑ The occupancy is reduced due to 2m space between tables. ☑ A maximum of 20 guests to an individual table allowed. ☑ No table cloths, tables disinfected after each use instead. ☑ One-use menus printed on recycled paper. ☑ Different hand sanitizers/washing stations for guests and staff. ☑ Bread ordered and baked individually for each table. ☑ Communal condiments such as salt, pepper, oil and vinegar served in single-use sachets. ☑ Front of house staff will be equipped with facemasks, kitchen staff with facemasks and gloves. ☑ Staff temperatures to be taken daily. ☑ One member of staff dedicated exclusively to cleaning and disinfection. ☑ Perspex screens on reception to protect staff. ☑ Guests to choose if they would prefer to pour their own wine We are confident that we can preserve or even enhance the restaurant ambience whilst upholding the new criteria.
  • Do I need to wear a mask or gloves when visiting the restaurant?
No, you do not. The use of these items for restaurant diners has not been enforced by the Government. Though it’s probably sensible to keep gloves, a mask and a small bottle of hand sanitiser in your possession.
  • Do I need to reserve before coming down to the Beach House?
Reservations are not essential though given we are operating on reduced capacity it’s advisable to book in advance to avoid disappointment and help us to plan. You are also of course welcome to walk-in on the off chance for a meal or just drinks though we cannot guarantee availability this way.
  • Can we enjoy the beach facilities?
Yes! The beaches of Marbella are open for the public as of Monday 1st of June :) Of course, in accordance with social distancing measures, the beds are more generously spaced than ever.. Join us on one of our beach loungers or even one of the luxury beds if you're up for a special day!
  • Can I come and just have a drink?
Yes, we will be open for food and also just for drinks.
  • Is there any limit on how many people can sit at one table?
The maximum number of people per table as specified by the Government is 20.
  • Have you had any trouble adjusting to these new health and safety guidelines?
It’s early days but so far we feel very comfortable about this. Having been in catering for more than 20 years we are used to the high standards required to safely serve food and beverage. As opposed to adopting entirely new concepts we feel more like we are stepping things up to ensure guests feel safe.
  • Will the restaurant ambience be affected by the social distancing and hygiene measures?
We honestly don’t think so, in fact it could well be a time to cherish with; more space, uninterrupted views across an empty beach and fewer fellow diners!
